Can you tuck a shirt into a skirt and wear a high waist belt over the shirt?

I am going to a wedding on saturday. normally when i wear a button down collared shirt i put a thick belt around my waist. But i dont tuck the shirt in. I want to wear a skirt to the wedding and i think it would look sloppy if i dont tuck in the shirt. But i still want to wear the belt. If anyone (women) can picture what i am saying. Let me know if that would look ok....or if it would look unkempt to NOT tuck the shirt into my skirt.... THX

I'm not trying to be mean to none of these girls but none of them now what your talking about anyways your idea would look fabulous your going for that pin up/sailor girl look and i think its hot. make sure you are wearing a pencil skirt don't match the belt with your shoes. do a black belt with red shoes something like that an idea. just go with your look its going to look HOT have fun at the wedding.

Im assuming you mean you want to wear a wasit belt over it? If so this can be done, but it has to be done well in order for it to work. You should probably be on the taller side or it will make you look stumpy by dividing your body to much (belt, skirtline). I suggest that that you wear a skirt that at least reaches your knees. Also, this kind of look will ONLY look good with a pencil or straight skirt, not any skirts that flare.

from what im guessing youre saying no unless it was a high waisted pencil skirt then the belt would be going over the shirt and skirt

no i think you would look like a really really old person so wear just like a plain dress and flats
