Ladies: why do you think sanitary belts are on the come-back trail among younger women?

I read that sanitary belt sales have tripled in the past five years to younger women. They say the belts are in colors, the pads are thin, etc. Do any women here know of anyone using the belts? Do they work well?

They are absolutely fabulous! The new ones don't have any tape on them - since the belt holds them - and they fit snug, don't stick to you and are like a thong. Absolutely excellent.

when i had my first period, that was all we had!!!,, i hated them,, dont know why they would bring them back,, unless it has something to do with thongs!!! i used tampons,, but now lucky me,, i had a hysterectomy and am now aunt flo free!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
